The 90 m² family house in Bauska was designed with a focus on simple, efficient, and modern living. Its compact form and functional layout allow every square metre to be used effectively. Two bedrooms, a spacious living room with a kitchen area, a bathroom, and a technical room provide everything needed for a small family or a couple who value practicality. The design is based on durable, easy-to-maintain solutions that work well both for everyday living and in the long term.
The façade uses grey-toned profiled cladding boards, giving the building a simple yet defined architectural character. The roof is finished with a PVC membrane — a solution well suited for flat roofs that serves both a practical purpose and a clean visual result. Around the house, a paved driveway and paving along the building perimeter ensure comfortable and practical movement in all weather conditions.
The interior was designed with a natural atmosphere and carefully selected materials. The floors are finished in ash-effect laminate, while oak-effect wall panels are used in the interior. In the bathroom, the walls and floor are finished with porcelain stoneware tiles, providing a durable and practical solution. The heating system is based on an air-to-water heat pump with water-based underfloor heating throughout the house, ensuring even warmth in every season. The layout is planned to provide свобод movement and everyday comfort without unnecessary complexity.
The area around the house is fully landscaped, with lawn, greenery, and enough space for both relaxation and practical daily use. This project shows that a smaller floor area does not prevent the creation of a complete and well-considered home. The Bauska house is an example of rational construction, where every element serves a clear purpose and together creates a reliable and modern living environment.
The Bauska house is exactly what a home should be - simple, well considered, and practical. Easy to maintain, comfortable to live in, and suited to everyday life, it includes everything essential without unnecessary excess.
